She is a graduate of Union College in Kentucky, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration. After returning back home to St. Croix, she pursued and obtained a master’s degree in business administration from UVI.
Ms. Jones's professional career includes working in both the public and private sectors, and providing financial and human resource management services. She has been affiliated with the VI SBDC network as the former center director on St. Croix, and has over 18 years of experience providing counseling, technical assistance, training and outreach to nascent and existing small businesses within the territory, according to the release.
“We’re excited to bring Jones back home to the VI SBDC in such an important role. Her experience will not only assist entrepreneurs and small businesses, she will help shape the future of the VI SBDC to better serve our communities”, said, Ted Gutierrez, VISBCD state director.
