The V.I. Territorial Emergency Management Agency said Monday that the Covid-19 vaccination appointment call center will remain open throughout the holiday week, including Transfer Day on Wednesday March 31, Holy Thursday April 1, and Good Friday on April 2. Appointments will also be taken on Easter Monday, April 5.
VITEMA said call center hours are 8:30 am until 5:00 pm with operators available to complete initial vaccine appointments at 340-777-8227 (VACS).
Online vaccine scheduling will remain available 24/7 for all governmental agencies as well as residents over the age of 16, the agency said. Registration forms in both English and Spanish are available at http://www.vitema.vi.gov/news/covid-19-vaccination as well as a self-booking option specific to all three islands.
The community vaccination center on St. Thomas, located at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center will be open from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, with the St. Croix center, located at the Great Hall on the UVI campus being open Monday through Thursday, according to the release.
All confirmed appointments for Friday April 2, on St. Croix, will take place at the Plessen Vaccination Center. Vaccinations will also be administered on St. John on Saturday April 3, at the Morris DeCastro Clinic from 8:00 until 12:00.
