The VA Caribbean Healthcare System will be conducting testing for Virgin Islands Veterans from August 31 through September 28 in St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John, the V.I. Veterans Affairs has made known.
This second round of COVID-19 testing will be conducted at the VA Clinic locations on St. Croix and St. Thomas, according to the release.
Testing will take place two days a week for the next 4 weeks beginning on Monday August 31. On Mondays, testing will take place in the parking lot outside of the St. Croix VA Clinic which is located at the Village Mall in Baron Spot, as seen in this story's feature image.
Testing on St. Thomas will take place on Wednesdays in the parking lot outside of the VA Clinic located in the Medical Foundation building, which is situated behind the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital.
Testing at both locations will be conducted using a drive-thru type concept; there will be no need to exit your vehicle, the release stated. Special accommodations will be made for Veterans not in a vehicle.
Veterans interested in having the test done are to report to the VA Clinic in your district on one of the allotted days between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Make sure to have a photo I.D. available for eligibility verification.
