V.I.P.D. Seeking Community's Assistance in Locating Missing St. John Man

Lubens Besse By. THE VIPD

ST. JOHN, USVI – The Virgin Islands Police Department is asking the community for assistance in locating 33-year-old Lubens Besse, who was reported missing by his girlfriend.

Besse is a black male, standing around 6 feet in height and weighs between 250 - 260 pounds, according to police spokesman Toby Derima. His hair is black in long dreadlocks.

Besse has several tattoos: behind his left ear reads "Lucky me", right hand reads "Light Work", right wrist has the flower of life with small circles that touch each other above the flower; left hand displays "777", his left, inner arm has something written in Haitian and a tattoo on his left outer forearm has a Hebrew scripture, according to the V.I.P.D.

Besse was last seen around October 11 at his residence in Suzannaberg. Besse’s vehicle was discovered in Coral Bay on October 13.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Besse is urged to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-TIPS. You are asked to say something, if you saw something.
