The V.I. Economic Development Authority has announced an upcoming public hearing set to take place at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023. This announcement is made in accordance with Section 717 Chapter 12 of Title 29, Virgin Islands Code.
For those interested in participating, the meeting will be accessible via Zoom. Attendees are reminded to register in advance to ensure a smooth joining process.
Among the agenda items, the V.I. Economic Development Commission will address application matters. Notably, DIAM Management, Inc., a Designated Services Business located in St. Croix, has put forth a Modification Application that will be under discussion.
Immediately after the public hearing, decision meetings will be conducted. These are aligned with V.I. CODE ANN. tit. 1, § 254. The meetings will cover topics related to the V.I. Economic Development Authority, the Economic Development Park Corporation, and other pressing matters for the V.I. Economic Development Commission.
The public is advised that the VIEDA Board of Directors and its subsidiary boards might opt for an executive session at any juncture during the meetings, in adherence to the guidelines stated in 1 V.I.C. § 254.
