The Virgin Islands National Park is calling on young residents of St. John and St. Thomas to join the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) crew this summer. The park is offering a unique opportunity for individuals aged 15 to 18 interested in environmental stewardship and summer employment.
The summer program will run from June 10 to July 26, 2024. Participants will work 32 hours per week and earn $15 per hour. The YCC crew will engage in various projects aimed at preserving the park's natural and cultural resources while gaining valuable work experience.
Interested applicants can download the Youth Conservation Corps Application Form from the National Park Service website or pick up an application at the park's Visitor Center in Cruz Bay, St. John.
