The V.I. Department of Finance on Friday night announced through a press release that it is currently experiencing significant network issues that are impacting the printing and distribution of hard checks, as well as external access to its website.
According to the release, the department’s service provider has been notified of the issues and is actively working to resolve them. Once the network problems are addressed, the Department of Finance will resume the printing and distribution of checks and restore public access to its website.
The department extended its apologies to the public for any inconvenience caused by these technical difficulties. DOF emphasized that the issues are due to specific circuit problems beyond their control, and they are doing everything possible to manage the situation efficiently.
