The St. Croix Educational Complex on February 14 was filled with the warmth of family connections as mothers, students, PTA organizers, and staff members gathered for a unique celebration titled "Muffins with Mom."

From 7:00 to 7:40 a.m., attendees enjoyed a special breakfast consisting of muffins and bush tea, enhancing the morning with a heartwarming atmosphere.

The event was enlivened by the melodious tunes of talented guitarist Gyasi Clarke, with students joining in song. This created a harmonious backdrop that added to the festive mood. It also offered mothers, students, and staff the chance to capture memories with photographs of the occasion.

Dynel Lang, president of the PTA, hosted the event, which showcased the active involvement of the Parent-Teacher Association in fostering community spirit within the school. The highlight of the morning was the presentation of "A Nosey Poem" by a faculty member named Emmanuel. The poem underscored the essential qualities that parents should embody when raising teenagers, using the acronym NOSEY to emphasize being nurturing, observant, selfless, engaged, and young at heart.

The gathering not only celebrated the bond between mothers and their children but also reinforced the importance of parental engagement in the educational journey of students.
