Senior Stand Guidelines Released for St. Thomas Carnival 2023 VI Carnival Parade

The V.I. Department of Human Services, Division of Senior Citizen Affairs has announced rules and procedures for entry into the Senior Citizen stand for the upcoming St. Thomas Carnival 2023 VI Carnival Parade. These guidelines are intended to ensure the safety and enjoyment of senior attendees, D.H.S. said.

According to the department, the following rules will be in place for seniors who wish to enter the designated parade route stand:

Senior ID or official ID must be shown upon entry.

  • All persons must be 65 years and above.
  • No children allowed in the senior stand.
  • No alcohol allowed in the senior stand.
  • Reservations are not required for entry, as seating will be provided on a "First Come, First Serve" basis. Once all seats are filled, no additional entries will be allowed for the safety of VIDHS staff, volunteers, and senior citizens.
