In honor of Women’s History Month, the Live With Laura Show is set to make its return with a compelling and inspirational episode featuring dynamic women leaders from across the Virgin Islands and beyond. The program, a production of Women In Business VI & Caribbean Inc., is sponsored by the VI Consortium and will air Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m., streaming exclusively on the VI Consortium platform.

Hosted by Laura Forbes, the show’s latest installment will focus on celebrating the achievements, leadership, and entrepreneurial journeys of Virgin Islands women who have made significant impacts in their fields and communities.

Viewers can expect meaningful conversations with a panel of distinguished guests, each representing excellence in business, public service, healthcare, and tourism:

  • Angela East-Jaschen – A seasoned businesswoman and the host of “Leaders Who Lunch,” East-Jaschen is the Founder and CEO of East Consulting, a company known for its dedication to developing leaders and building strategic partnerships.

  • Iveliz Petersen – An entrepreneur and the owner of Hygge Suds, a natural body and skincare brand rooted in self-love and self-care. Petersen’s work emphasizes wellness and personal empowerment through handcrafted, natural products.

  • Dr. Lisa Adams – The first native female Black optometrist in the U.S. Virgin Islands and co-owner of the Sterling Optical Chain alongside her husband, Joel Mahepath. Dr. Adams’s pioneering path in the field of eye care has paved the way for other aspiring professionals.

  • Rose-Anne Farrington – Serving as Deputy Commissioner of the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism, Farrington is also an Executive Board Member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization, where she contributes to the region’s global travel and tourism strategy.

The segment will explore the personal journeys of each guest, including the challenges they’ve faced, the milestones they’ve achieved, and the ongoing impact of their work throughout the territory and the Caribbean.
