Request for Qualifications: Consulting Architectural/Engineering Services For Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas

The Virgin Islands Port Authority (the “Authority” or “VIPA”) is hereby soliciting a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) from qualified Architectural/Engineering firms for the purpose of entering into a multi-year contract for Consulting/Engineering Services for the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The Authority prefers the submission of electronic responses through the Authority’s electronic procurement system at https://viportbids.ionwave.net, by no later than 4:00 p.m. AST, Friday, November 30, 2022. Manual responses will be accepted as stated in the Request for Qualifications. 

A Selection Committee will be appointed to review the Responses. Based on the Committee’s review, those firms judged to be best qualified to provide the required services may be short-listed to three (3) to be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted at the Authority’s Administrative Building at 8074 Lindbergh Bay, St. Thomas, USVI.

The Authority encourages responses from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and local firms as individual entities and as multi-party entities. Any contract to be awarded as a result of this Request for Qualifications will be awarded without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

The Authority reserves the right to impose additional or alternative selection criteria, as it deems necessary.

Interested Respondents may view the RFQ through the Authority’s website at https://viportbids.ionwave.net. Entities wishing to submit a response must register as a Supplier and upload their response to the portal.
