Public Schools Closed For Spring Break; Food Initiative Suspended

Department of Education schools in both the St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John districts will close the week of April 26-30 for Spring Break, the department has announced. The ‘No V.I. Child Goes Hungry’ Feeding Initiative will also be suspended during the week. 

All state and district offices will remain open during Spring Break and are fully operational. 

Virtual and in-person classes, as well as the feeding initiative will resume regular operations on May 3. 

D.O.E. wished students and school-based employees a safe and enjoyable Spring Break.
