The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) hereby notifies all interested persons that, in accordance with Section 717, Chapter 12 of Title 29, Virgin Islands Code, as amended, a public hearing for the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Advance registration is required.
The application under consideration is from Sky City Airport Company, seeking approval for a new application, with operations proposed for St. Thomas and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Any person interested in the approval or disapproval of any application, or in making a statement regarding such matters, may appear and be heard. Written notice indicating the subject of remarks and their approximate length must be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer at least 24 hours before the hearing.
Following the VIEDC public hearing, and pursuant to V.I. CODE ANN. tit. 1, § 254, as amended, a Decision Meeting will be held for the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission (Applications & Compliance) and the Enterprise Zone Commission. These meetings will also be conducted via Zoom.
Please note that the VIEDA Board of Directors and its subsidiary Boards may enter executive session at any time during the meetings, in accordance with 1 V.I.C. § 254.
