Update: A woman and her daughter who the V.I.P.D. on Tuesday reported missing have been found in St. Thomas, according to the department's director of communications Glen Dratte. Mr. Dratte said they were found at a playground near the Cyril E. King Airport and appeared to be unharmed. Both individuals were at the police department being interviewed.

Original Story: The V.I. Police Department is seeking the community's assistance to locate a woman and her daughter who went missing on March 5.

Police said the woman — identified as 25-year-old Leigh Ann Sharpe — weighs about 140 pounds, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, has brown eyes and is of a light-brown complexion. The V.I.P.D. also stated that Ms. Sharpe suffers with mental-health issues and has several tattoos about her body. 

Her daughter was described by police as 3-year-old Daisy Sharpe who is 3 feet tall and just like her mom is of a light-brown complexion and has brown eyes.

The V.I.P.D. is asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ms. Sharpe and her daughter Daisy, to please contact 911 immediately.
