The Lady Rovers Soccer Club (LRSC) is raising funds to support young female soccer players with a special outdoor movie night later this evening, October 8.
The event begins at 5:30 pm, with the film - the animated hit “DC Super Pets” - starting at 6:30 pm. The outdoor screening will take place on the field of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Admission costs $2 per person, with drinks and snacks available for purchase. The funds raised will go towards supporting young female athletes, ranging in age from 3 - 11, pursue their love for soccer.
Attendees at tonight’s open-air movie night are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to ensure a cozy movie-watching experience under the night sky.
With this activity, LRSC hopes to foster family bonding, and community spirit, while also supporting the aspirations of young soccer players on St. Croix.
