The V.I. Dept. of Education has announced its schedule for the St. Croix District school orientation sessions for the 2023-2024 school year. The district encourages parents and students to note their respective school and grade information.
Ricardo Richards' Pre-K through 6th-grade students are expected on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023. Pre-K and KG students will start at 9:00 am, followed by 1st through 3rd grade at 10:00 am, and 4th through 6th grade at 11:00 am in the school's cafeteria. The school insurance fee is $18, and parents are advised to provide a copy of private insurance if school insurance is not being purchased. P.E. uniforms can be purchased at Capitol Tees.
Pearl B. Larsen PreK-8 is scheduled for Friday, August 4th, 2023. Different times have been allotted for each grade, with sessions for document completions/payments and for ESL students/parents. The event will be held in the school's auditorium, with all students required to be in full uniform and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Lew Muckle Pre-K through 6th-grade students will have their orientation on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, with different time slots assigned per grade in the school's cafeteria. The school insurance fee is $18.
Juanita Gardine K-8's orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the school's auditorium. The school insurance fee is $18, and P.E. T-shirts can be purchased for $15.
John H. Woodson Jr. High School has scheduled their orientation for 8th grade on Thursday, July 27th, 2023, and for 7th grade on Friday, July 28th, 2023, both from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the school's auditorium. The school insurance fee is $18, ID cards cost $15, and the cost of P.E. Uniforms will be announced later.
Claude O. Markoe Pre-K through 6th-grade students should arrive for orientation on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023. Pre-K through 2nd grade begins at 9:00 am, followed by 3rd through 6th grade at 10:30 am. The school fees will be announced at the orientation.
Eulalie Rivera K-8 orientation will take place on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, at 9:00 am in the school's pavilion. The school insurance fee is $18 and P.E. T-Shirts can be purchased for $10.
Alfredo Andrews K - 6 has scheduled its orientation for Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, at 9:00 am in the school's auditorium. The school fees will be announced at the orientation.
St. Croix Central High School has planned orientation for 9th grade and new/transfer students on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, with two available time slots. Students from 10th, 11th, and 12th grade are divided over two days, Wednesday, July 26th, and Thursday, July 27th, according to their last names.
Lastly, St. Croix Educational Complex High School's orientation for 9th grade and new students is on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023. 10th, 11th, & 12th graders are divided into two groups according to their last names and are scheduled for Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023. All orientations will take place in the school's auditorium.
Note that, unless specified, the school insurance fees are $18 and are to be paid in cash. Some schools will announce their school fees during orientation. Proof of private insurance is required if school insurance is not being purchased.
