Oriental Bank on Friday announced that it is extending service hours in its Altona, St. Thomas and Sunny Isle, St. Croix branches on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. On Sunday, August 30 both branch lobbies will be open as well from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for debit card service only.
Additionally, the bank's drive-thru will be open on Saturday from 9:00 am until 3:00 p.m. at both branches.
“We are extending our service hours to help our customers who need support with the transition to Oriental systems," said Vilmarie Baez, vice president of channels operations at Oriental. "Everyone at Oriental is committed and focused on assisting our customers and will continue taking the necessary steps to ensure all have been served appropriately."
The customer service phone line will be available Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, the bank said. Customers can call 1-800-981-5554.
Oriental said its branches will continue to conduct Covid-19 temperature checks of visitors to its branches. Everyone who enters must wear a face mask, use hand sanitizer, and maintain a 6-foot distance from others, Oriental said.
