The Virgin Islands Port Authority (the “Authority” or “VIPA”) invites the submission of proposals from licensed contractors to provide Emergency Marine Salvage Services at the Virgin Islands Port Authority District of St. Croix. The purpose of these services is to ensure that the Virgin Islands Port Authority can reopen its seaports immediately after a declared disaster or emergency event. Bids must be submitted by no later than 2:00 p.m. on July 7, 2022 through the Authority’s electronic procurement system at https://viportbids.ionwave.net.
The successful Proponent will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment necessary and incidental to marine salvage services. The services under this Contract will be for one year, with two (2) one (1) year extension at the discretion of the Authority.
Services may be required on a twenty-four hour “on-call” basis. These services will be under the direction of VIPA’s Marine Manager. The Authority reserves the right to make multiple awards for this requirement and/or to reject any or all bids.
