ST. CROIX — A woman who suffers from dementia and was missing since this morning was found in Cotton Valley, according to people familiar with the search.
The woman, named Nilda Gonzales, was found not too far from the Cotton Valley Fire Station, these people said. At time of writing, the search party was awaiting an ambulance to transport Ms. Gonzales to the Juan F. Luis Hospital for medical attention.
She had gone missing at 10:30 a.m., with her last known location at the time being Golden Rock, where she was seen driving a red 2014 Ford Escape, license plate # CFH270.
