ST. THOMAS — The Humane Society of St.Thomas (H.S.S.T.T.) has reimagined its traditional Valentine’s Ball with a special Sunday brunch and silent auction at sparkling reinvigorated The Ritz-Carlton on February 16, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., H.S.S.T.T. has announced.

The Humane Society said that more than ever it is reaching out to the community for support as the staff and volunteers care for the thousands of homeless animals passing through its doors annually. With limited inconsistent public funding, H.S.S.T.T. said it's expected to perform the services that are routinely undertaken elsewhere by government agencies. According to organization President Annette Zachman, “It is fundraising events like this brunch and the generous support of the private sector that allow H.S.S.T.T. to be there for our community’s animals.”

The nonprofit said the event will be one like no other with a fabulous silent auction featuring outstanding items donated by our very own generous merchants. Still need a Valentine’s gift for your sweetheart, you’re certain to find the perfect present on the silent auction tables. And moving the festivities along will be the bubbly personality of Jay Matthews of Mazda/Honda/Acura, doing it all for St. Thomas’ animals.

Scrumptious food, an unlimited Mimosa & Bloody Mary Bar, a rose for every lady donated by Forever Flowers as well as a complimentary beauty product from Rituals will be sure to delight our guests for this elegant event.

Ticket donation $150, limited to 175 guests. Reserve yours today by calling 340-513-1854 or online at: https://give.classy.org/hssttvalentinesbrunch.

HSSTT would like to sincerely thank the following for making this event happen:

Bellows International, West Indies Corporation, The Ritz- Carlton, St. Thomas, Forever Flowers & Rituals.

All proceeds benefit the animals in H.S.S.T.T.’s care, the organization said.
