The Virgin Islands Port Authority (the “Authority” or “VIPA”) is hereby soliciting Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) from highly qualified and experienced development firms for the purpose of entering a multi-year contract for the demolition, leasing and development of a hotel on approximately 1.9163 acres of land located at Parcel Nos. 70-X, 70-T, 70-T-1 and 80-U Estate Lindberg Bay, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Responses must be submitted electronically through the Authority’s electronic procurement system at https://viportbids.ionwave.net, by no later than 4:00 p.m. AST, Monday, June 12, 2023.
A non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 9:00 am (AST) in the Conference Room of the Virgin Islands Port Authority Office located at the Crown Bay Center, Property Management Office in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. A tour of the hotel site will be conducted immediately following the Pre-Submittal Meeting.
The Authority reserves the right to impose additional or alternative selection criteria, as it deems necessary.
Interested Respondents may view the RFP through the Authority’s website at https://viportbids.ionwave.net. Entities wishing to submit a response must register as a Supplier and upload their response to the portal.
