Organizations seeking support in providing enrichment programs targeting children and older youth can now apply for up to $15,000 in grant funding from the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands.
The foundation announced its call for grant applications this week, open to 501(c)(3) non-profits, local non-profits registered and in good standing with the Lt. Governor’s office, churches and other houses of worship, and local government agencies.
The grants, according to CFVI, must be used to support program-related costs, including rental fees for the use of facilities, salary for personnel, equipment purchases to support the enrichment experience, financial assistance for program participants, food & drink for participants, and defraying relevant field-trip costs, among other expense categories.
Applications from interested organizations can be submitted online until 11:59pm on May 15, according to CFVI.
