Free Will Baptist Christian School is preparing to bring the colorful world of Dr. Seuss to the stage later this month with its upcoming production of “Seussical KIDS,” a family-friendly musical that will spotlight student performers in a story filled with imagination, music, and familiar characters. The school announced that the production will feature students taking audiences through the whimsical world of Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and other memorable figures from the works of Dr. Seuss.
According to the school, the musical is built around colorful characters, energetic musical numbers, and messages centered on friendship, loyalty, and standing up for others. The production is also intended to showcase the work and talent of the student cast and crew, who the school said have been preparing diligently for the performances.
Free Will Baptist Christian School said the show celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the joy of storytelling.
Performances are scheduled to take place at the Free Will Baptist Christian School Upper-Campus Auditorium on Friday, March 27, at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, March 28, at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
