Frederiksted Pier Continues Busy Cruise Season with Updated Schedule

The V.I. Port Authority has released the revised cruise ship schedule for the Ann E. Abramson Marine Facility at Frederiksted Pier, detailing the arrival and departure times of various vessels from October 2023 through September 2024.

The schedule promises a busy season with a total of 67 planned port calls, although 8 have been canceled, leaving 59 overall calls to St. Croix.

  • The season kicks off in October 2023, with three ships docking, including the Adventure of the Seas and Carnival Dream, bringing thousands of passengers to the island.
  • November 2023 sees an increase in activity with five ships scheduled, including the Valiant Lady making a notable appearance.
  • The busiest months appear to be January and February 2024, each with seven ships scheduled to dock, despite several cancellations.
  • Notable cancellations include the Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Epic in February, affecting the total number of visitors.
  • The Rhapsody of the Seas appears frequently throughout the year, marking its presence from May to September.
  • The schedule is subject to changes, emphasizing flexibility in operations.
