ST. CROIX — Just like the Claude O. Markoe Elementary School, the Eulalie Rivera K-8 School dismissed early today (2:00 p.m. for Eualie Rivera), due to a faulty pump affecting the water pressure at the school, the Department of Education has announced.

The faulty pumps emerged on the heels of the Dept. of Education's announcement that Eulalie Rivera K-8 School beginning Monday will host Arthur A. Richards K-8 School students, which means the two schools will utilize the Eulalie Rivera building for double session.

School buses started transporting students to their regular drop-off locations at 2:00 p.m., according to D.O.E. Communications Director Cynthia Graham.

D.O.E. said it will provide an update on the status of the school later today.
