It’s summer camp season, and parents are encouraged to sign their children up for enrichment opportunities provided by the V.I. Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation.
At Monday’s press briefing from Government House, Communications Director Richard Motta reminded parents that registration for this year’s summer camp is open as of last Friday.
Applications may either be picked up in person from DPSR offices, or online. All applications must be submitted with a birth paper and immunization card for the student who wishes to attend the summer sessions, DSPR said. Downloaded applications can be signed, scanned, and submitted via email or in person. Camps begin on June 12 and run through July 22.
The $150 application fee can be paid over the phone with a valid credit card (call 340-774-0255 on STT, 304-773-0160 on STX), or by cash or cheque in person.
Mr. Motta noted that applications are only processed with the required documentation and on the receipt of the full application fee.
