The V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources on Tuesday announced that the Division of Fish and Wildlife, in conjunction with the Division of Environmental Enforcement, will host a registration week for all commercial fishers in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The registration week will take place from July 17th to 21st, between 9 am and 3 pm, spanning across both districts. Commercial fishers in St. Croix will be able to complete their commercial fishing license registration at the Division of Environmental Enforcement located in Anna’s Hope. Meanwhile, commercial fishers in St. Thomas and St. John can complete their registration process in the second-floor conference room of the VIYA Building.

DPNR has issued a request for all fishers to bring their completed renewal forms, their renewed business licenses, and any missing Commercial Catch Reports to the registration. These documents are necessary for the registration of their commercial fishing licenses.

For further details or to clarify any questions, commercial fishers can contact the Division of Fish and Wildlife at [email protected]. Alternatively, they can reach out to the St. Croix office at 340-773-1082 or the St. Thomas office at 340-775-6762.
