The V.I. Division of Personnel has announced a series of produce distribution events for participants of the 2024 Virtual Health and Wellness Expo. The events, organized in collaboration with the GESC Health Insurance Board, CIGNA, and local farmers, are set to benefit CIGNA members, including active employees, retirees under 65, and their dependents who took part in the expo held in July.
To receive their produce bag, eligible participants simply need to present their ID at the designated distribution locations. The initiative is part of the Division of Personnel’s commitment to promoting healthy living and well-being within the government workforce.
The schedule for the produce distribution is as follows:
- St. Croix: September 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at DC Canegata Ballpark.
- St. John: September 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Franklin Powell, Sr. Park – Gazebo.
- St. Thomas: September 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Emile Griffith Ballpark – Parking Lot.
