Division of Personnel Announces Post-Expo Produce Distribution for GVI Health Participants

Fresh, Local Produce Reward for 2023 Virtual Health and Wellness Expo Attendees

The V.I. Division of Personnel together with the GESC Health Insurance Board and Cigna has announced a distribution of fresh, local produce for those who registered and actively participated in the 2023 Virtual Annual Health and Wellness Expo. The event, which took place on Thursday, July 13, aims to reward engagement with a healthy bounty from local farms.

Eligibility and Identification Requirements for Participants

Eligible recipients of the produce bags include Cigna Active employees, Cigna Retirees Under 65, and their dependents who registered and participated in the expo. Attendees are reminded to bring an ID for eligibility verification to receive their produce bag.

For United Healthcare members who registered and attended the expo, a separate produce distribution event will be organized by the GESC Health Insurance Board and United Healthcare, with dates to be announced shortly by the Board.

Drive-Through Distribution Schedule

The DOP has released a schedule for the upcoming drive-through distribution events across the Virgin Islands:

  • St. Croix: November 13, 2023, at DC Canegeta Ball Park, 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
  • St. John: November 16, 2023, at Cruz Bay Band Stand/Gazebo, 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.
  • St. Thomas: November 17, 2023, at the Emile Griffith Ball Park Parking Lot, 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
