Deadline Approaching for Submission of Nomination Petitions and Papers for 2024 Elections

Deadline set for May 21, 2024, for all election aspirants in the U.S. Virgin Islands to submit their Nomination Petitions and Papers by 6:00 PM

Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes has issued a reminder to all election aspirants that the deadline to submit nomination petitions and papers for the 2024 Elections is swiftly approaching. The final day for submissions is Tuesday, May 21, 2024, by 6:00 p.m.

Nomination documents are available and can be submitted during office hours at the following locations:

  • St. Croix Elections Office: Sunny Isles Shopping Center, Unit 26 1st Floor, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • St. Thomas Elections Office: Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular), from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • St. John Elections Office: Market Place Suite II, open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Aspirants are encouraged to pick up their nomination packages well in advance to ensure sufficient time to complete the necessary paperwork. The Elections System Offices across the territory will continue to provide Nomination Petitions and Papers until the deadline.

Ms. Fawkes urges all potential candidates to make timely inquiries and clarify any doubts about the nomination process.
