D.O.E. and Human Services Announce Extension for Parents to Update Mailing Addresses to Receive P-EBT Benefits

The Virgin Islands Department of Education, in partnership with the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services, has announced the extension of the deadline for parents to update their mailing addresses in order to receive additional food assistance benefits through the federal Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) program.

Parents may visit the Division of Student Services, Monday-Wednesday, June 8-10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., to update their records. St. Croix Location - Across from the Honda dealership in La Grande Princesse. St. Thomas-St. John Location - The Curriculum Center at Edith Williams Alternative Academy, according to the release.

If mailing addresses are not updated, families risk not receiving the P-EBT card, which will be issued via U.S. Postal Service.
