The Claude O. Markoe Elementary School will be dismissed at 12 p.m. on March 3 due to a faulty pump affecting the water pressure at the school. A new pump is expected to be installed later today, the Dept. of Education has announced.
Students will be fed lunch prior to dismissal.
Parents may pick up their children beginning at 12 p.m. School buses will arrive at the school to transport students to their regular drop-off locations beginning at 1 p.m.
The Department of Education will provide an update later this afternoon on the status of the school for Wednesday, March 4.
