Government House has announced that Governor Albert Bryan left the territory on Tuesday for a series of meetings and some personal time with his family for the Easter holidays.
The governor will be the keynote speaker at the National Conference for Workforce Development in Washington, D.C., and he also has meetings scheduled to discuss various programs and initiatives regarding the USVI’s maritime goals, Government House said. He is scheduled to return to the territory on Tuesday, April 19.
Lt. Governor Tregenza Roach is also out of the territory for a family event centered around the Holy Week and Easter holiday, and will return on Wednesday, April 20, Gov't House said.
In their absence, Finance Commissioner Bosede Bruce will be acting governor and Senate President Donna Frett-Gregory will be acting Lt. governor.
