Women's Race 2025.
The 41st Annual Women Race took place on Sunday, drawing nearly 220 participants to one of St. Croix’s most cherished community events.
Runners competed both in person along the scenic route in Frederiksted, and virtually from locations across the Virgin Islands and the U.S., including St. Thomas, Georgia, New York, Florida, Maryland, Texas, and Arizona, according to event organizers.
Hosted by the Women's Coalition of St. Croix, the annual event raises funds to support the organization's vital services. Proceeds go toward the operation of its crisis center in Christiansted and Sojourner House, an emergency shelter that provides refuge for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
Bridget Klein of the Jolly Rogers Track Club claimed the top spot in this year’s race, finishing with a time of 13 minutes and 8.75 seconds. She was followed by Kirra Lambert of Good Hope Country Day School, who completed the course in 14 minutes and 12.68 seconds. Third place went to Faith Edmond of the St. Croix Track Club, with a time of 14 minutes and 29.46 seconds.

The Women Race is held annually on the first Sunday in June and continues to highlight the strength and solidarity of women across the territory and beyond.
