WNBA star and St. Thomas native Aliyah Boston will return home this weekend to host her 2026 Girls Basketball Clinic, bringing young athletes together at Antilles School for a day centered on skill-building, confidence, and community. The event, organized through the Aliyah Boston Foundation, is set for Saturday, March 21, and has already drawn overwhelming interest, reaching its 100-attendee limit shortly after registration opened.
The clinic will take place at the Mark C. Marin Center at Antilles School and is designed as an opportunity for girls in the Virgin Islands to learn directly from one of professional basketball’s most accomplished players. Organizers said the event reflects the foundation’s ongoing mission to empower young women through sports while creating meaningful athletic opportunities for youth in the territory.
Two separate sessions are planned for the day, divided by age group. The morning session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is open to girls in fourth through eighth grade. The afternoon session is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to girls in ninth through twelfth grade.
Boston said returning to the Virgin Islands for the clinic carries special meaning.
"I am so excited to be back home on the court where it all started," said Aliyah Boston. "Building confidence and community through basketball is something I am incredibly passionate about, and I can't wait to see the talent and heart these girls bring to the clinic this year."
The event will be held at Antilles School’s Mark C. Marin Center, located at 77280 Frenchman Bay Road, St. Thomas, 00802.
The release said the event is being made possible through the support of the Aliyah Boston Foundation and its partners, all of whom are committed to advancing athletic excellence in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
