The 333rd Recruiting Squadron, headquartered at Patrick Space Force Base in Satellite Beach, Florida, recently conducted an extensive outreach initiative across the U.S. Virgin Islands, aiming to inspire, engage, and recruit future service members for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force.

As part of its area of operations (AOR), which includes Central and South Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the squadron participated in two military career fairs and visited every high school on the island over the past week. Recruiters interacted with students, school staff, and parents, providing valuable insights into the opportunities available through service in the U.S. Air Force.

Highlighting the diverse career paths within the Air Force, the U.S. Air Force Band of the West participated in the outreach events, offering students a glimpse into the unique musical and cultural opportunities within the military. Additionally, Captain Orchydia Sackey, a KC-135 pilot and graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, shared her experiences and perspectives, offering first-hand insight into military aviation and the rigorous yet rewarding journey of an Air Force officer.

The 333rd Recruiting Squadron regularly executes outreach efforts like these across its designated territories to ensure that students and young adults are well-informed about career opportunities in the Air Force and Space Force. The recruiters emphasized the educational benefits, career advancement opportunities, and the sense of purpose that come with serving in the military.

For those interested in learning more about joining the U.S. Air Force, local recruiter Technical Sergeant Malik Royalis available for inquiries. He can be reached at (340) 513-1714, or individuals can visit his office located at the Sunny Isle Shopping Center.
