2023 Veterans Day Parade and Ceremonies Announced Across Territory

The Office of Veterans Affairs has extended an open invitation to the public for its annual Veterans Day Parades and ceremonies, set to take place in various locations throughout the territory. Detailed information about the events is as follows:

St. John - Sunday, November 5th: Starting at 1pm, the parade will commence at the National Park area in Cruz Bay. Marchers will move forward to the old First Bank location, where they'll take a right turn directed towards the Cruz Bay dock. From there, the procession will turn right to pass the reviewing stand located at the base of the Bandstand at Frank J. Powell Park. Following this, the parade will continue past the reviewing stand before concluding. The official ceremony is scheduled to occur at the bandstand right after the parade ends.

St. Croix - Saturday, November 11th: Kickstarting at 9am, the procession will originate from the Bassin Triangle in Christiansted. The parade will journey down Kingstreet, passing by the Government House, culminating at the Christiansted bandstand. The subsequent official ceremony will be organized on the National Park grounds next to Fort Christianvaern.

St. Thomas - Saturday, November 11th: Beginning at 3pm, the parade is set to start at the parking area of Emile Griffith Park. The procession will march down Veterans Drive, going past the legislature building. It will then continue past the reviewing stand, which will be situated to the right. The parade will then turn left at the Alexander A. Farrelly Justice Complex and make an immediate left into the Fort Christian Parking Lot, signaling the parade's conclusion. The official ceremony will unfold at the Veterans Drive Promenade shortly after.
