Lieutenant Governor Osbert Potter has notified the public that the U.S. Department of State has increased the passport execution fees from $25 to $35, effective April 2, 2018. The $10 increase in execution fee will only apply to U.S. passport applicants who are required to apply using the DS-11 form in person at the passport acceptance facility, Mr. Potter said. These applicants include:
- Minors
- First-time adults (16 years and older)
- Applicants who have lost their passport
- Applicants that wish to replace a stolen passport
The $10 fee increase is not applicable to adults that use the DS-82 form to submit renewal applications by mail.
