ST. THOMAS -- Acting Department of Planning and Natural Resources Commissioner Dawn L. Henry has made known through a press release issued on Tuesday, that delinquent tenants of the Gustave Quetel Fish House will see their lease agreements being terminated if past-due payments are not made by Wednesday, July 15, or before the renewal of their fisher's boat and commercial fishing license.
According to the release, DPNR records indicate a delinquent balance of rental fees on many of the rooms. As such, and in accordance with the provisions of the lease, DPNR says it will elect to terminate lease agreements, re-enter and reclaim possession of the leased premises, and/or exercise any other legal action the department deems necessary.
Monthly rental fee for each room is $70, which DPNR says should be paid on the first business day of each month at DPNR’s cashier booth located on the Cyril E. King Airport's 2nd Floor.
