Restore America’s Paradise will host a public prayer gathering at Point Udall on Saturday, August 8, bringing together residents, faith leaders, elected officials, community organizations and visitors for prayer, healing, restoration and renewed hope throughout the Virgin Islands.
The event, titled “Pray Over the U.S. Virgin Islands,” is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Admission is free, and shuttle transportation will be available from Cramer’s Park.
Restore America’s Paradise, also known as RAP, described the gathering as an opportunity for people from across the territory to unite regardless of their backgrounds, religious denominations or political affiliations.
Point Udall is the easternmost point of the United States and the location of the Millennium Monument. Organizers said the landmark’s association with new beginnings and hope makes it an appropriate setting for residents to gather and seek God’s guidance for the territory’s future.
“We believe that lasting change begins with faith, unity, and action,” said Earl Philip, organizer and representative of Restore America’s Paradise. “This event is an opportunity for our community to come together regardless of background, denomination, or political affiliation and pray for a brighter future for our islands.”
The gathering will focus on restoring faith, strengthening families, promoting peace and encouraging personal responsibility and community service across the Virgin Islands.
Churches, ministries, civic groups, nonprofit organizations, businesses and residents from St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John are invited to participate.

Restore America’s Paradise is described as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) social welfare organization committed to civic engagement, cultural preservation, community development, youth empowerment and public policy initiatives intended to improve the quality of life throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands.
