Bryan Renominates Judge Jessica Gallivan to Superior Court of the Virgin Islands

Governor Albert Bryan Jr. has officially renominated the Honorable Jessica Gallivan to continue serving as a Judge of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands for the District of St. Croix.

The renomination has been submitted to Senate President Milton E. Potter and the Thirty-Sixth Legislature, where it will undergo legislative confirmation for another six-year term under Title 4, Chapter 5, Section 72 of the Virgin Islands Code.

Judge Gallivan has served on the bench for over a decade, earning wide respect for her judicial integrity, fairness, and dedication to upholding the rule of law, according to Government House. 

"Judge Gallivan has consistently demonstrated the wisdom, compassion, and fairness that our judicial system demands," Mr. Bryan stated. "Her dedication to justice and her deep connection to our community make her an exceptional choice to continue serving in this critical role."

Judge Gallivan’s legal career spans more than two decades, during which she has developed a reputation for sound judgment and legal expertise. Throughout her tenure, she has played a key role in shaping the legal landscape of the Virgin Islands, issuing thoughtful rulings and mentoring young attorneys and law clerks.

Beyond the courtroom, Judge Gallivan has remained an advocate for fairness and an inspiration to the next generation of legal professionals.
