St. John may be small, but its Carnival — now officially called the St. John Celebration — is anything but understated. Just last night, global dancehall and reggae icon Sean Paul lit up the stage as the featured artist. As the Jamaicans say, “Wi likkle but wi tallawah.”

That spirit was on full display during J’ouvert Morning. Though the route wrapped around Cruz Bay in just about an hour and a half, the atmosphere was electric — full of joy, energy, and freedom. Leading the charge was one of the USVI’s top artists, Shaw HP, who energized the crowd with his signature BRAM hits.
The V.I. Police Department ensured the event stayed safe and smooth from start to finish, helping deliver a vibrant, incident-free celebration.
