Correction, Police Officer Examinations Announced; New Criteria For Written Exam

Acting Director of the Division of Personnel Milton E. Potter has announced testing for the ranks of correction officer and police officer territory-wide. The sign-up period is Feb. 2-13 and testing will take place from March 23-27. All interested candidates must sign-up and submit a completed application package at the respective district offices. Candidates who previously submitted an application are required to notify the Division of Personnel of mailing address changes in order to ensure receipt of confirmed examination notice. A preparation guide for the police officer written examination will be distributed Feb. 02-13. The division's recruitment policy has been amended to include new criteria that will allow candidates to be waived from sitting the written examination; however, candidates are required to meet all other established criteria for qualification.
