FirstBank Has Multiple Job Opportunities Open: Service Reps, Unit Supervisors, Talent Consultant, Risk Manager

FirstBank has announced a number of job openings currently available at its various locations in the U.S. Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands. 

Service Representative

The Service Representative is responsible for processing client transactions, effectively and efficiently; performing a variety of administrative duties to evidence compliance with policies, rules and regulatory requirements applicable to client transactions; and makes referrals to cross-sell bank products and services.  The role is subject to individual and team performance objectives; participates in audits and special projects as defined by the needs of the business.

A high school diploma and three years of customer service experience are the minimum requirements; College graduates preferred.

Unit Supervisor

The Unit Supervisor oversees and directs the performance of Service Representatives, ensuring effective and efficient processing of financial transactions and adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Unit Supervisors are expected to coach towards the fulfillment of daily responsibilities and achievement of assigned performance objectives.  The role is required to model the organization’s customer service expectations; embrace and support the sales and service culture; and assist and provide coverage as necessary to ensure the sound operations of the branch.

An associate degree in business and up to two years supervisory experience are the minimum requirements.  College graduates with experience in customer service or sales preferred.

Talent Consultant

The Talent Consultant administers the Bank’s Recruitment, Selection and On-Boarding programs, driving the identification and selection of talent for the various lines of business within the organization.  This position coordinates to effect approved personnel changes; monitors and collects data for preparation of reports; and engages to develop initiatives of strategic importance.  Candidate is expected to understand and perform within local and federal legal requirements. 

A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations or business administration with three to five years related experience are the minimum requirements.

Regional Risk Manager

The Regional Risk Manager serves as the liaison between Corporate Compliance, Credit Risk, Risk Management and the USVI and BVI operations.  Provides the strategy and leadership for the region’s risk management and monitoring activities; oversees matters, ensuring the region’s compliance with current laws and regulations.  Assists the Corporation’s Chief Risk Officer with the implementation of the appropriate risk management infrastructure for the FirstBank business located in the USVI and BVI.

A bachelor’s degree in relative field with five years experience in risk management and or compliance.
