A list of all properties owned by the Government of the Virgin Islands, requested from the Department of Property and Procurement by Senator Marvin Blyden as a way, according to Mr. Blyden, of assisting "in generating additional revenue for the territory by identifying vacant properties and leasing them to nonprofit and for-profit businesses alike." The senator added that the listing "will also make it convenient for anyone interested in searching for government owned properties."
