The V.I. Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS) has announced the hospitalization of its Director Daryl A. George Sr., following a medical emergency.
In light of the situation, the VIFEMS has asked the community for their understanding and cooperation. It further urged the public to avoid spreading speculative information, emphasizing that any official updates regarding Mr. George's condition will come directly from the VIFEMS.

People familiar with the matter told the Consortium that Mr. George was hospitalized Friday after falling severely ill.
