The Christiansted Alliance, headed by Mary Dema, teamed up with Lucien Downes, a well-known artist on St. Croix in an effort to honor two of St. Croix’s quadrille and culture legends — Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights, and Bradley Christian — with a mural and a block party celebrating their contributions to the territory. Below, eventgoers dance to the sounds of Stanley and his knights at the market on Company Street Friday night.
