Frett-Gregory Marks Completion of 'Kids Kitchen' 3rd Annual Summer Program

The curtain came down on the DFG Community Impact Foundation of the Virgin Islands, Inc.'s 3rd Annual "Kids Kitchen" Summer Saturdays Meal Program, but not without creating a mark in the hearts of many. Spearheaded by Senator Donna Frett-Gregory, the initiative has stood firm in its mission to address food insecurity among children in the Virgin Islands. "Kids Kitchen was designed with the aim of ensuring that no child in the Virgin Islands faced hunger. Our dedicated team reached out across communities, weekend camps, and playgrounds, striving to eliminate childhood hunger and bring about positive community change," said a passionate Senator Frett-Gregory. Kickstarted in 2021, the program provided meals every Saturday during the summer in multiple Virgin Islands communities.
