Man Arrested for Unauthorized Entry to Restricted Area of Henry E. Rohlsen Airport

ST. CROIX — Trespassing charges have been made against a man who police say gained unauthorized access to a restricted area of the Henry Rohlsen Airport.  Michael Brathwaite was arrested last Wednesday after police were notified that a man was walking without shoes under the breezeway within the Airport Operation Area. According to the probable cause fact sheet accompanying his arrest, police made contact with Brathwaite and escorted him to the VIPA Police Office without incident.  Police noted that Brathwaite told them that he did not do anything wrong and that he was just looking for help. The fact sheet also states that the man told police he was trying to get away from Alphonso who was speaking to him in his head. He also asked the police officer whether they could hear Alphonso speaking to him.
