Applications Now Open For CFVI Scholarships

The application window for scholarships from the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands is now open as of today, according to a press release from the foundation. The scholarships are available to students who are current seniors or graduates of a high school in the U.S. Virgin Islands, who have either applied for or are enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate programs from accredited institutions.Virgin Islanders who matriculated from an institution outside the territory will be considered if they can prove that they transferred schools due to Hurricanes Irma and Maria, or because of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Over twenty scholarships for technical, undergraduate and graduate programs are available, including the Alexander A. Farrelly Scholarship which provides two students with $2,500 each towards obtaining degrees in education, or health sciences.
